Cavegirl Combat, week 19

Oko finally delivers on her "I fight like a slut" promise.

Is she cheating?

Do you care?

(I just noticed Mika's pants have just sort of disappeared since last week. I wish it worked that easily in real life! I'll retcon her pants next week.)

Quick note

I received the hard drive from C. Just a quick look through it mostly to check that I could open every thing. It all worked fine. Wow, its really a large collection. I knew it would be but the reality  of the long list of stories and various other items is pretty impressive.

My first reaction to it all? Honestly?

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.

What a terrific artist. I'm going to go on and on as to why later on.

I should start posting some pics this week, once I get my bearings and see what's what.

What would curating mean?

Slid again.

To the question of what exactly will I be doing with Cameroon's work?

I will be organizing his body of  female combat artwork, and get to know it as a whole as much as I possibly can in a brief time. Then, should it become apparent, at whatever time,  that Cameroon will no longer be joining us,  I'll begin posting downloadable .rar or .zip file collections of his work on this blog. These compressed files, according to his request, will always be available to his fans at no charge. I will ultimately make the entirety of his work available for download, and maintain the blog's presence.

I am waiting for the delivery of a couple of hard drives full of his work in the next day or two. Then I'll make a backup of everything and set to work learning about what he has sent me. I will also begin posting examples of his work on this blog as C. is recovering. Then I will finally step aside as he resumes blogging.

Hope that clears things up a bit. Questions are more than welcome.

Taking up the mantle

I thought I'd briefly step in from the shadows at this point.

I feel enormously privileged to have been asked by Wildebeest to curate his work as well as keep his blog going during what we hope and trust will be his recovery. I hope to meanwhile shed some new light on the work of someone who's work I have come to admire so much.

I don't want to get too heavy, but I'm completely blown away by the opportunity to care for this fine artist's legacy. His work has elevated erotic comics to a much higher level than we're accustomed to seeing and has, for him, been a labor of love. He has asked me to maintain things here and to make his work freely available and accessible to all. I will happily do this; it will be my sincere pleasure.

I'll begin posting his work soon. I'm looking forward to seeing it myself!

Back to you soon!

Regards
Slid

Big news: a new cohost

I'm pleased to announce that Slid, whose work has appeared at Catfight Central and other adult art sites, has agreed to become cohost of this blog and the curator of my work.

I'm going to step 'way back from the blog for at least awhile to focus on my health, and my intent is to quickly segue to a point where Slid is doing most of the posting.

I'm not going to put constraints on what he does or says. I'm putting my confidence in him to keep sharing my material here as he sees fit. And I'm hoping that he'll look at my archive of unfinished work with a fresh set of eyes, and maybe see some things that I have not. I'm giving him access to everything I've done over the past twenty years.

Bear in mind that he's a lot busier, artistically speaking, than I am, so he may not be posting here as frequently as I was back in September and October when the blog was going full steam ahead. He also has in own blog, BackSlid, which you should check out if you haven't done so already.

The doctors have told me, frankly, that I am not going to recover from my illness. We are only trying to delay the inevitable, and it remains to be seen whether that will be for a matter of years, or mere months.

I deeply appreciate the support you've shown me over the years.

Cavegirl Combat, week 18

Mika gloats over her punishment of Oko, but finds out the hard way that the blonde still has fight in her in this week's episode.

Update

I've been in the hospital the past week, and I've got a lot more medical treatment ahead. I'm sorry to say that stuff, including Cavegirl Combat, is going to be at least temporarily interrupted. As I wrote previously, I've made arrangements for the future, and I hope to be revealing them shortly.

Cavegirl Combat, week 17

Seventeen pages into the story now! Hard to believe I've gotten this much done.

I've let Mika just beat the crap out of Oko the past few weeks, and I think it's about time to let Oko work Mika over some.

So, be back next week when the dirty fighting gets even dirtier...

Latest update

The short version is my health outlook is not at all promising. I have made some arrangements to keep the blog going in the event I'm unable to continue, and I'll be telling you more about that in the next few days.

Cavegirl Combat, week 16

In week 16 of Cavegirl Combat: how much more of this can Oko take? Will she fight back, or just take it until she can't take any more?
