Custom videos

I have never tried to order a custom video from a catfight producer. I always assumed my scripts would be too elaborate to be affordable ('Princess Alannara slams her fists into Space Ranger Jennifer's exposed breasts as an Imperial War Cruiser bears down on Jennifer's starship.') or that the results would be unsatisfactory for the money invested.  ('Why does that Imperial War Cruiser look like a pie pan?')

So, I'd like to ask you: Have you ever ordered a custom video? How much did you spend (please feel free to answer anonymously)? How many performers were involved? Were you satisfied with what you got? Looking back on it, what would you have done differently, if anything?

And if you answer, let's please not get into criticizing individual performers or producers. I don't want to this to turn into one of 'those' discussions.

  1. I have ordered abut a dozen customs over the years, almost all from two producers. cost for two girls varied from $500 to $800 for two girls and a roughly twenty minute video and genreally have been pretty satisfied.

Obviously there's no space cruiser, princesses, or costumes in those budgets - the fee covers the model fee and the company retains the right to sell copies.

Scripts have to be bare bones. In my experience, you can pick the girls (but good idea to name a couple of alternates. You can pick who wins. You can ask for bikini, street clothes, topless or nude (some wont do nude). You can ask for a number of specific moves but cant expect to script the fight (example, I want to see Jane put in a camel clutch for about a minute and then submit ... or break free if thats your preference).

Dialogue: these things are shot in one take. These girls are not actresses by any stretch of the imagination. You can reasonably ask for 4 to 6 lines of specific dialogue but understand it usually means they have to stop the action ... cue the girl what to say ... and then resume action. I have had the experience of having specific lines I asked for left out but not often.

  2. For years i dreamed of ordering a customised catfight, and about six years ago found the money to do it. I paid just over $1,500.00 in advance, and rather than specify any elaborate script my only requirement was that they used the girls i asked for, ones that i considered attractive, had seen before, and knew would deliver a good performance. Unfortunately when i received the completed DVD not one of the girls i had chosen was present. As a result the action was poor and not up to the standard i had expected. All in all i consider it to have been a huge waste of money. A mistake i will Not repeat.
