Superheroine Brawls

Once in awhile, I come across something on my hard drive that surprises me, even though I'm the one who drew it.

There's a lot of stuff going on in this superheroine brawl, but the best part, for me, anyway, is the two heroines at far left. The blonde has her face buried between her opponent's thighs, and is obviously dealing with her sexually.

But what I'm most happy with is the way the skin tones turned out here. They have an almost translucent quality that I rarely get in my drawings.

(Me: "I'm particularly happy with the almost translucent quality of the skin."

Everybody else: "Wow! Is she eatin' that other girl out?"

That's an artist for you.)

Again, I can't tell you what year I did this. Let's say it was 2000 or 2001. But my recollection is that it was in response to someone on the 'net lamenting the dearth of superheroine catfight material.

Dr. Evil's extraordinary Supergirl/Batgirl punchout.
Actually, there's a ton of superheroine catfight material on the 'net, including Dr. Evil's astonishingly sexy Supergirl/Batgirl battle. I don't know the whole story on this art, but I'll tell you I think it's the best superheroine fight I've ever seen.

There's tremendous energy in this collection of drawings, which appear to have started out as some sort of poster before being cut up and in some cases slightly redrawn. Dr. Evil puts more work into just the hair than I usually do my whole work.

And look at the fingers on Supergirl's hand. The shape of her mouth and eyes. The shredded fabric of her cape.

This is the kind of work that makes me wonder why I even bother.

I don't know where to tell you to find the whole thing, but I'll tell you what I've seen of it is awesome. I had it here for years before I learned who the artist was. Dr. Evil is brilliant and extraordinarily talented.

By the way, Batgirl knocks out Supergirl in the end of this fight, which, of course, strikes me as a little unlikely, unless Kara had some kryptonite in her granola that morning.

  1. Got my first comment! Of course, it was for jobs in Pakistan. Thanks for nothing.

  2. I must be atypical, my thought first reaction isnt the sex on the left but the girl straddling the other girl over to the right, both of them punching away at each others breasts. Each to his own?

  3. Interesting that you should mention that. It's my second favorite part of the drawing, and I had originally written a paragraph about it. I cut it because if I write a paragraph every time a drawing shows boobs getting smacked, I'll be repeating myself very quickly.

  4. I havent spent a lot of time thinking about it, but I think what draws me to it apart from the obvious fact that two babes seemingly locked at the groin are fighting is the movement. One is topless having had her costume apparently torn off since it is missing, the other ones is bursting out of hers. Clenched teeth indicating real anger and pain between them and then finally, the arms. The arms are seemingly in motion, so thats not the first punch. They have been hitting each other in the chest and from the position of the arms they show no signs of stopping either.
That's my two cents, at least. Makes me wonder what started it!
