Why is this hot?

Who knows what will trip someone's trigger?

This would normally be too cartoony for my tastes. But I find this particular sketch very appealing.

I'm not sure where it came from, but possibly from something called "Combat Zone Illustrated". If you know anything about this art or its creator, would you leave a note in the comments?
