What do you like?

The Catfight Report blog is polling its readers about what they like and don't like about the catfight entertainment industry.

Taking the survey encouraged me to identify my own preferences and interests. I'd thought about this some in the past, but only in a sort of fuzzy, vague way.

In addition, I see in my own files some consistent themes, dating back decades.

For example, I can see that I'm more turned on by fist fights than wrestling. I like to see lots of body shots – punches to the chest, midsection and below the belt. Boobs popping out of the top of a costume are also very sexy, as in this unfinished cage fight panel from about 2005.

(A brief aside: I do not like real violence in any form. I'm turned on by stylized, choreographed battles. All those YouTube videos of women actually beating on each other out on the sidewalk inspire responses from me ranging from boredom to revulsion. I want to write more about that at some point, especially about the yahoos who stand on the sidelines and encourage it, but for now, I just want it to be clear that genuine violence is not something that trips my trigger.)

I like fights that sort of swing back and forth between fighting and making out.  The fighters ought to get incredibly turned on by the contest and the body contact.

  1. I agree with you about the fighting/making out thing. As for breasts popping out, I prefer it to 100% nakedness. I think someone in tattered or torn clothing, or at least seeing the shreds of what once covered the two fights littering the floor is much preferable to two naked people that seemingly started out that way. That's me anyway.

  2. I'm a bit of an oddball. I prefer the kind of sweaty body-to-body contact that grappling and wrestling provides. The creativity of some holds and the "submit or suffer" moment when one woman is trapped and it becomes a test of will is stimulating, as is the overall idea of two women competing to see who is the better.

The nature of the characters involved has something to do with it too. Your pic for your Working Size entry is perfect: a jungle girl vs a cat girl, in a wrestling ring. Two larger-than-real life characters duking it out in a public arena flips many more switches for me than housewife vs mistress in the privacy of one's home.

Sex is also a key element. Even if it's not a sexfight, a grope or caress here or there to throw your opponent off guard is perfectly welcome. The winner taking her vanquished opponent back to the lockers for a victory celebration is also a favorite element.

  3. I enjoy a close contest between rivals who can't stand each other to the point that they have to settle matters one on one but torn clothing and intense facial expressions worn by the combatants really put a work over the top!
